Public Murals
1988-1989 Designed and executed altarpiece painting for St. David's Episcopal Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
1987-1988 Designed and executed four mural decorations for Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
1984 Designed and executed fresco for Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Glendale Springs, North Carolina. For this work, Mims received the Arthur Ross Award from Classical America. The award was presented at the National Academy of Design by Phillipe de Montebello, curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, N.Y.C.
