he ability to imitate nature, and in particular the human figure, is undergoing a modern renaissance. The question remains, however: what are we to do with this ability? To study an artwork in a museum is a very different experience from seeing it in the specific context and environment for which it was created.
The Mural Guild is an advanced program developed by the Academy of Classical Design to guide atelier training into the realm of mural work, and the decoration of public spaces. This unique program is available to students who have successfully completed the Drawing and Painting Schools, and are prepared to apply this training at a more complex level of design. It offers both educational and vocational experience required to assist in the production of large scale artistic collaborations.
